Q:  How much do you charge?

Q:  And what does that get me?
A:  Your banner will then be automatically added to our banner rotation program... which means your ad will be be seen on EVERY page at Chucklemonkey.com!

Q:  How many banners do you display on a page?
A:  Chucklemonkey.com currently only displays two full-size banners per page - one at the top, and one at the bottom - and one "button" ad in the right sidebar. Full-size web banners appear in both the top and bottom slots on every page - they run on the same rotation.

Q:  And how do you bill me?
A:  We generally bill each month via PayPal - however, if you are unable to pay using the PayPal service (it's free!), we can work with you - just let us know.

Q:  Is there still a 3 month commitment?
A:  Nope! We've done away with the commitment period... now, you just pay for what you need!

Q:  So, let's say I've got a new show opening, or a club that I want comics to know about... if I only want to advertise it for a month, you're OK with that?
A:  Totally OK.

Q:  Cool!  So... what can I advertise?
A:  Well, Chucklemonkey.com does reserve the right to refuse advertising requests, but we're pretty flexible - basically, we just don't want to advertise the same ol' porn and spy cams. If you've got a question, feel free to ask!

Q:  What kind of banners do you accept?
A:  "Full-size" web banners should be 486x60; "button" ads should be 120x60. Advertisements in .gif and .jpg formats are fine - however, we do NOT accept pop-up ads.

Q:  What about animated .gifs and Flash banners?
A:  Animated .gifs are fine - Chucklemonkey.com is not currently hosting Flash banners, but we may change this policy in the future.

Q:  Do I have to host the banner myself?
A:  Nope! We're happy to host the banner graphic for you at no additional charge.

Q:  Will YOU design the banner for me?
A:  Normally clients provide their own ads, but if you need someone to design your ad for you, we do offer this service for an additional charge of $15 per hour (it doesn't normally take more than an hour or so to design a banner or button, unless you need something particularly fancy).

Q:  Can I pay for more than one month in advance?
A:  Yes - you may purchase up to 12 months in advance, to lock in current rates.

Q:  Is there a way that I can pay for my banner to appear in the rotation MORE than average?
A:  Yes - you are welcome to purchase multiple ad spaces within the rotation and use them for the same banner. For example, if there was 10 banners in rotation, and three of them were all your banner - then your banner would appear 3 times more than any other banner!

Q:  What about the Chucklemonkey Newsletter?  Can I advertise there?
A:  Yes! The Chucklemonkey Newsletter is mailed out to over 1,700 opt-in subscribers within the industry every month, as well as being featured to visitors to Chucklemonkey.com, making it a great way to reach even more people. Additionally, we are able to offer further advertising options on the Newsletter than just the basic banner - articles, "extra-large" ads, and more are all available - please e-mail us for more information.

Q:  I heard a rumor that there's a way to get a FREE ad listed on the Chucklemonkey Newsletter - is that true?
A:  Yup! From time to time, we'll sometimes exchange a bit of free advertising for companies that donate prizes to our monthly Chucklemonkey Comedy Contest (for details, just click HERE!) - please e-mail us if you're interested in this option.
